Program is organized on Deumai Rural municipality ward no 8 Hall and Trainer Hemant Nepal facilitated the training program. Today, <strong>May 11, 2026<\/strong>, marked a significant milestone in our journey toward strengthening the cooperative sector. We just wrapped up a high-energy <strong>Cooperative Promotion and Training Program<\/strong> in Ilam, working alongside the dedicated members of the <strong>Ajambare Tea Producers Cooperative Society Ltd.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The session, held at the Deumai Rural Municipality Ward No. 8 Hall, wasn&#8217;t just about sharing information\u2014it was about building a shared vision for the future of the local tea industry.<br>Beyond the Basics As a trainer, my focus is always on transformation rather than just transmission. We spent the day diving deep into what it really takes to scale a cooperative in today&#8217;s economy. Our discussions centered on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><strong>Member Empowerment:<\/strong> Shifting the perspective from &#8220;participation&#8221; to &#8220;ownership.&#8221;<br><strong>Operational Resilience:<\/strong> Practical strategies to navigate market fluctuations while maintaining high-quality tea production.<br><strong>Leadership &amp; Governance:<\/strong> Establishing the professional frameworks necessary for long-term sustainability.<br><br><strong>Insights from the Field<br><\/strong>Facilitating this session in Deumai reminded me why I am so passionate about this work. When you get a group of committed producers in one room, the exchange of ideas becomes a powerful catalyst for change. The engagement from the Ajambare team was incredible\u2014we didn&#8217;t just talk about &#8220;cooperative principles&#8221;; we mapped out how those principles translate into better livelihoods and a stronger local economy.<br><strong>Training for Impact<br><\/strong>This program is a perfect example of how professional development acts as the bridge between current capacity and future potential.
